Hello, I am going to tell you about a important and unknown topic; Spacial Weather

What is it?

The Spacial Weather is the condition of space around the earth that affect the planet and our technological systems. It is result of the activity of the sun; the emision of x-ray, gamma-rays, proton, etc, that impact our magnetosphere, and can produce many and catastrophic effects. This emissions are origined in the sun, because of sunspot, solar wind and coronal mass ejection, principally. This are normal and very enrgetic phenomenon that happen in the solar surface.

Effects

There are a correspondence between the emissions intensity and their consequences, moderated for earth magnetosphere conditions.

Some of the possible efects are, in ascending order: Very beautifull aurora borealis; Radio blackouts (a very big area of the planet have interferences in the radial comunications and the GPS lose accuracy); Disorientation of satellites (can lose comunication with earth, his sensor can fail and in the worst case its system can be destroyed), problems in  electric networks (alarms of outover voltage can be activated, some critical components can be destroyed for the current induction).

The past

The consequences mentioned have a real base. In the past, similar things hapened, and for the small technological development or luck we are now with a "normal" life.

In 1989, in Quebec, around 10.000.000 of peoples lose the electric supply for 9 hours in 3 coutries for a solar storm that affect the earth.
